To confirm, our Tritan™ drink bottle push button lid will not work without the straw top mouthpiece. The push button only works when the straw top mouthpiece is inserted correctly into the lid.

Please ensure all parts are inserted correctly; by removing both the connector, mouthpiece & straw from the lid and reinserting it to make sure the mouthpiece is pulled through all the way.
